The Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce works to support the local business community and to improve the quality of life for all Hermann-area residents.

Hermann Public Schools

The Gasconade County R-I School District in Hermann, Missouri supports students in grades PK-12 and has a mission to help students reach their academic potential and become responsible citizens. The district’s curriculum and programs are designed to prepare students for college and the workplace.

The Hermann community also enjoys the option of a private catholic education at the St. George School serving grades PK-8.

Hermann Area District Hospital

Hermann Area District Hospital, a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital in Hermann, Missouri, has served the community for over 50 years with services, including emergency care, surgery, rehab therapy, and more. Renovated in 2009, the hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities and is the largest employer in the city, with over 200 positions. Known for personalized and compassionate care, the hospital invites the community to visit and explore its wide range of healthcare services.

Gasconade County

Gasconade County is located in the east-central portion of Missouri. The Missouri River, once the state’s main transportation artery, forms the county’s northern border. Settled largely by immigrants of German descent, Gasconade County is the heart of a region known as the Missouri Rhineland and today is home to the beautiful town of Hermann.
